I am a proud single and adoptive parent to two amazing teenagers. I have both personal and professional experience solving kid puzzles. Professionally, I have worked as an educator for 25 years, from preschool through high school. I've served as a literacy specialist, multilingual learner teacher, special educator, and resource specialist. I hold a Master's degree in Reading, and several state licenses from DESE, including Reading, Mild/Moderate Special Needs, Early Childhood, and ESL. Additionally, I completed the Parent Consultant Training Institute facilitated by the Federation of Children with Special Needs.

I have lived experience navigating schools, school systems, mental health mazes, therapies, agencies, and state systems of care.

When not working or parenting, you can find me gardening, learning languages on Duolingo, and cuddling with my senior rescue pup Griffin.
